Renee Lee, LCSW, CADC, has over 25 years of clinical and administrative experience in social services. She has worked with developmentally disabled adults, dual diagnosis, and chemically dependent populations as a vocational manager, pastoral counselor, clinician, and program director. Previously responsible for the administration and operations of six federal, state, and municipally funded direct service programs: Recovery Home, Illinois Department of Corrections Diversion, Bridging Communities Offender Reentry, Methadone, Level 2.1 Intensive Outpatient, Project Future: Department of Children & Family Services Programs.
Renee is the co-founder of Reaching Out to Sisters Everywhere Ministries, Inc. (the ROSE). She serves as the executive director of the ROSE’s community outreach and counseling services, a faith-based agency that provides education, counseling, and support services to women with domestic violence and substance abuse disorders. Renee also teaches as an adjunct professor. She is an Illinois State Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor and earned certificates for 40 hours domestic violence training and advanced total quality management. Renee is committed to the empowerment of women and families and a strong advocate for family-based treatment and alternative sentencing. She serves as an advisory board member for the Illinois Coalition of Treatment Providers and Allies, board member for the Illinois Chapter of the National Association of Addiction Counselors along with several other professional organizations.
